Curves
Every profile has a natural, or “self” curve. This self-curve is mainly dependant on the depth of the profile. The shallower the profile, more easy it is to follow a curve. i.e. the radius can be tighter.
The minimum self curve parameters of Euroclad Profiles are as follows :-
-
Euroseam (0.9mm) Alum = 45 metres
Euroseam (0.9mm) Steel = 50 metres
SF500 (Secret Fix) = 50 metres
38mm (Forward) = 45 metres
32mm (Forward) = 40 metres
MW5 R = 40 metres
20mm (Liner) = 35 metres
19mm (Liner) = 35 metres
Pre-Curved Profiled Sheets
For radii smaller than those achieved by self-curving, a “crimp”, or “cranked” curve process is required for trapezoidal profiles. This entails a profile sheet to have an additional manufacturing process. This is done on a press break tool. An individual crease, or “crimp” is formed in the profile.
The minimum curve parameters of CRANKED Euroclad Profiles are as follows :-
-
Euroseam (0.9mm) Alum = 1.5 metres
(Convex)
38mm (Forward) = 250 mm
32mm (Forward) = 250 mm
MW5 R = 250 mm
20mm (Liner) = 225 mm
19mm (Liner) = 225 mm

Smooth Curved Profile Sheets
For smooth curves a series of profile rollers CNC controlled for accuracy are used to create the curved form of the profile. The latest is repeatable accurate curving machinery is employed at Euroclad.

The minimum curve parameters of SMOOTH CURVED Euroclad Profiles are as follows :-
-
Sinusoidal 13.5 -(0.7mm) steel
= 3 metres -
Euroseam Profiles can be smooth curved to a minimum Convex or Concave of 5 Metres.
-
Waveform or multiradius sheet are possible. Enabling production of various shapes.
-
5 metres radius Smooth Curve Convex
5 metres radius Smooth Curve Concave
Waveform curves to 5 metres minimum
Multiradius curves to 5 metres minimum -
