This Corus Colorcoat® Technical paper aims to give cladding contractors and other construction professionals helpful guidlines to follow for the installation of Colorcoat pre-finished steel wall cladding systems. These guidlines have been developed by Corus in conjunction with their supply chain partners and installation contractors.
Following the reccomendations in this paper will ensure a consistent appearance and minimise any distortion of colour and reflectivity effects that may occour during the installation of the pre-fiished steel wall cladding that affect the visual appearance of the building.

LINEAR Facades Systems
Euroclad’s new brochure ‘LINEAR Facades Systems’ defines a rainscreen façade as “a cladding applied either during the primary stage or as an over cladding to an existing structure” and goes on to describe this type of construction as “An outer weather resistant decorative skin fixed to an underlying structure by means of a supporting grid, which maintains a ventilated and drained cavity between the façade and the underlying structure”.
The new brochure tells you everything you need to know about rainscreen facades; how they work, when they can be used, the material options and much more.

‘An Introduction to BREEAM for pre-finished steel industrial buildings’
which takes an in-depth look at this environmental assessment method, and provides specifiers, building owners and clients with a comprehensive understanding of the benefits of having industrial buildings assessed within the BREEAM scheme.

NEW - Colorcoat Technical Paper - Fire Performance. * Dec 08

CORUS and reducing fire risk.
Corus have a long history of product development and assessment of pre-finished steel performance in fire. The fire performance of all Colorcoat® products have been assessed and Corus are able to provide performance data to National and European test standards.
The guidance givin here will help the building designer to understand the legislative and insurance requirements and identify the most appropriate construction for the application.
NEW - Euroclad Non Fragility of Profiled Sheets * Nov 08

The ability to use the fixed liner as a working platform during
installation of the outer sheet can also speed the construction
process and allow work under the lined out roof to progress.
Sheets or rooflights which have not been fixed to achieve
a non-fragile classification must be treated as fragile.
Euroclad profiles can be fixed to be non-fragile during the
construction phase.

showing thermal efficiencies of joint details
and plane elements using three-dimensional
models.
These details help illustrate the overall
thermal performance of a roof or wall as
well as the specific heat loss through details
per linear metre.
